Eight Great Practices for Follow-Up

 

 

  1. Always ask your guest what is the best number to reach them.

 

  1. Ask when your guest is leaving if it would be ok to follow-up with them to see if they had any questions not answered today or to see if they have made a decision.

 

  1. Complete a thank you card the moment they walk out the door and make certain it goes out in that days mail so that they receive it within the next day or so.

 

  1. When calling always ask if this would be an ok time to follow-up with them regarding the apartment home.

 

  1. Always try to have something to say to them when calling such as, a new special incentive, a new apartment that has come up that you feel would suit their needs.

 

  1. Your goal is to get them to come back out to the community. Chances of them leasing on a second visit are increased 10 fold.

 

  1. Keep all your guest cards together for ease of follow-up.

 

  1. Designate a specific time to make calls each day if possible.
